Teecherz Home & Office is a subsidiary of Makata Holdings, a fully incorporated company for over 30 years. Teecherz was founded on the 4th of July 1994 by Mr. Phanuel Lameck Vheriwa, driven by a passion for customer satisfaction.
That passion saw the humble beginning of the first Teecherz shop at Mpandawana Growth Point in Gutu, where teachers from surrounding areas such as Chivhu, Masvingo, and Murambinda played a key role in supporting the branch — which is where the name Teecherz comes from. Today there are 25 Teecherz Home & Office branches nationwide, and we keep expanding.
Our furniture manufacturing division, Mejeco, invests time and resources sourcing the best raw materials both locally and abroad. We put our customers first because they are at the core of everything we do — before and long after the sale. We don’t simply sell furniture; we aim to make you comfortable from the moment you walk through our doors to the moment you’re using our products in your home.
